New Chair Elected Today

The Ed Treacy era of Marion County Democratic Party politics officially ends today as the party faithful convene to elect a new chair today at 10:00 a.m. at Primo's on the Southside.

Barring some last minute shenanigans, our sources tell us that Joel Miller will likely be that new chair as he is unopposed.  Since your blogger is no longer a PC, Vice PC, or Ward Chair, I don't have any credentials for the event.  I'll be relying on social media to inform me what's happening.

The Republicans also meet today on Indy's Eastside at the Mariott.  Kyle Walker is expected to be reelected chair, according to the Indianapolis Star's Jon Murray.  He does have opposition from Jocelyn T. Tandy-Adande.
