I'm thinking Abdul probably got hit with a bad ad, but still... Oh well, I'm sure he would say, "No such thing as bad publicity and, hey, they're paying me. Capitalism at work, my friend."

Probably more a reflection of what your friend was looking at before he went to Abdul's website.........
Still there today and I don't think anyone on my computer has been visiting those kinds of sites.
