Breaking News: Charlie White Indicted

WRTV is reporting that Secretary of State Charlie White has been indicted on seven felony counts.

White is innocent until proven guilty, and he is able, under the law, to serve until a conviction is handed down against him. He has, however, lost all credibility as Indiana's Secretary of State and should immediately resign. Nothing like having your state's chief election officer indicted for voter fraud.

What's sad is that this all could have been avoided if more people would have paid attention to what was happening and had voted for Vop Osili in November.

I'm sure there's more to come on this one.

Prediction: "Stretch" Daniels will appoint Sue Anne Gilroy to the job when White does eventually resign.

Charlie White to Mitch Daniels:

"I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is all those Democrats have to shut up about the Voter ID law. There's finally been someone caught engaging in voter fraud. The bad news is it is the GOP office holder in charge of conducting elections -- me."
