Carson Earns Leadership Posts

While the Republican wave crested in November of 2010, Andre Carson calmly dusted off Marvin Scott with 59 percent of the vote. Now, he's been placed in two key leadership roles by his peers in Congress.

In a letter sent to his supporters, Carson announced that he had been selected Regional Whip for the Democratic Caucus and the Whip of the Congressional Black Caucus.

Congratulations to Congressman Carson on these two leadership positions. It's clear that he's doing great work for the 7th Congressional District.

That's my congressman!! I think that he will continue to climb the leadership ladder.

Great work = not reading the bills he votes to approve and instead simply doing as he is told.

This is nothing more than a big endorsement of the establishment that Carson is a guy who will follow their instructions (not ours).
