Ellsworth Releases Colonel Moe Davis' Stinging Criticism of Dan Coats' Ad

If Dan Coats and his campaign thought it was smart to smear Brad Ellsworth's record in Congress, then he might be re-thinking it after this. Colonel Moe Davis, the Chief Prosecutor in the Guantanamo military commissions, speaks out against Coats in this video released by the Ellsworth campaign.

When you're up 15-20 points in the polls, sometimes it's best just to leave your opponent out of it. This all can only hurt Coats who comes of looking mighty hypocritical. This is a self-inflicted hole in the hull of the S/S Coats.

Most people believe this election was closer than the polls show, but, if the Ellsworth campaign is able to get this word out, then I think it tightens up...and really fast. No one likes a hypocrite, Dan Coats.

While this is powerful, it is much too long for a campaign spot. A 30 second spot needs to be made and run over and over on the major tv stations. Where is that spineless Evan Bayh and his millions?

I'm not sure I agree with the assessment that no one likes a hypocrite. The GOP is full of them.
